Little Girl Goes to Jail for Killing Rival Gang Member

black women, black news

by Kirsten West Savali, Your Black World

We’ve all heard the story.

Black teen joins gang. Gang insists that teen kill someone to prove his loyalty to the gang. Teen follows instructions. Teen is arrested for murder.

It’s a tragedy that African-Americans have sadly become familiar with, as devastating statistics on Black-on-Black crime explodes and blankets our communities on a daily basis; but this time, the story has a twist.

The cold-blooded killer is a girl.

To prove her loyalty to her new crew, Brooklyn’s Wave Gang, Sahiah Davis, 16 (pictured above in pink), was ordered to kill a member of her former gang, Hood Starz. On April 25th at around 11 p.m., stalking the streets in the dead of night in search of a victim, Davis spotted Nathaniel Walcott, 16, riding a bicycle on Bristol Street in Brooklyn.

With all the cowardice that defines gun violence, Davis shot Walcott in the back and left him in a pool of blood near a park in Brownsville.

“They wanted her to do this to show that she’s down with them,” said anonymous police sources.

The tenth-grader is being held without bail on murder and gun possession charges.

Though she admitted to police that she shot Walcott, her parents insist that it was a forced confession and that Davis is a “sweetheart”.

“That’s a lie,” her mother, Kiwana Kearse, 40, said of the alleged confession. “They made her say that.”

This is not Davis’s first run in with the law. On July 23, she was at the scene of the murder of Riley, Marlon, 21, in Brownsville. After being questioned by police, she was released. No one has been charged with the crime.

This senseless killing has gone on far enough. How many people have to die unjustly for us to realize that we need to make a change in our communities? This is so crazy.

Another example of what is amounting to modern day genocide our youth's destructive path is continuing to rob them of their youth to eartly to often are we seeing childhoodslost. When stories like this stop becoming breaking news is when we should understand that it is happening way to much no more shock value no more outrage just regular news the senseless lost of our youth can never be looked at as common or regular. CHIOLDHOODSLOST...not only the young person who was killed but also the other young person who done the killing two young people not just one lost..

This is what the great society and the progressive movement has brought us to. This children do not even have childhoods any more. The bullshit that is beamed into your home each day (B.E.T. , M.T.V. etc..) and what is funny about it is this culture or whatever you call it is doing nothing but marginalizing our race , we are being portrayed as animals in the MSM and all other media outlets. STOP THE MADNESS. These children are not even being told about their history in the schools any-longer. Parents are scared of their own children , what?, about the race? What has happened to our race , why are we supportive of all these bullshit reality shows that fail to show US in a positive light? We are marginalizing our selves supporting all the negative bullshit, and the excuse is OOOO that brother or sister is getting paid.

Uhm, no. The movement toward a more progressive America is no more to blame for this than rap music is to blame for a terrorist attack. American progressives don't believe or teach that it's okay to engage in inner-city violence.

I am from another generation when it was allowed to discipline your child and put a foot in their "butt" which somewhat resulted in more respect for the parent, and less probability of joining a "gang". Then came "equal rights" for the child. Now we have more respect for the gang than the parent. Consequently, we now have the "destruction" of not only black families, but the family unit as a whole. And in-as-much as we now have more single parent families, society as a whole is being thrown into a state of discombobulation!

If she is guilty of this crime, she should be put to DEATH, regardless of her age. That should be what we practice going forward--"You Kill, You'll be Killed!"--No matter who you are or your pathetic circumstances. No self defense just someone told me to kill someone so my selfish ignorant behine can join a gang!??? Solution.....introduce her to the electric chair or lethal injection.....that's your cure! That applies to everyone who kill for the sake of killing! No cuddling or sympathy here. And if her community cared about reducing unnecessary killing, they'll be unified in asking for the DEATH Penalty!!!

The system is not concerned with what is best for our community, and never will be, if you don't believe me read what past President Abe Lincoln said in his address to the Back to Africa Movement of his day. You'll have to do some research! What many of our people(14 to 40 yrs of age) that are killing each other is just what the system wants , and has not and never will envoke the death penalty in black on black murder. In 72 years of my life I have never seen or recall a black person being put to death for murdering another black person, I might be off on this stat by 1 or 2 at most. I say this grudgingly , many of this group 14 to 40 will have to die out, our hope is to enlighten these children from the cradle to 13yrs, for many past the age 11 will be a reach ! Don't get it twisted, we have many that are not caught up in that want to be gang killer mind set, but, we need that 40% of the what I think is lost in that mind set. That % may be high, from what I read and see it's close. It' up to us with God's grace and mercy to take back our stand as the authority our children once respected and trusted to help build them into Men and Women they should become. We failed them by giving them up to integration and filling in the blanks history had left out. We are guilty of stop being aware of the hate we suffered and let our guard down, as such our children of the mid 70's to now were never inslated properly against the hate, because of our failture, theywere given a false sense of hope by the very people that hate them. We too were given that same falseness , but because we were equipped by those who preceded us. Most of us survived and are productive in our endeavor to overcome the hate and it's consequences . Yes, we must take a lions share of the blame for the lost generations of young black youth and adults to gangs, drugs and murder; of course many of them made bad choices, based on what ? So, what we have is TODAY, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not promised, so let us do TODAY what is needed today !

I can't watch the news, surf the net, or read the newspaper without finding our black folks especially young folks killing each other. It's beyond sad. I don't have the answers but a good start would be parents knowing what the He** their kids are doing and who their kids are hanging with. Parents aren't parents anymore. Thier scared of thier own children. I just wonder how much PS3, Xbox, or Wii stations play a part in this violence. Violent games and bloodshed on these games have dehumanized people. Kids think it's cool to kill and get points in these games but they don't remember that with real humans their is pain, hurt, families torn, or in turmoil when a life is taken away senselessly. Parents get involved with your kids and know their peers and do something to stop this violence from our youth. Anyway why don't someone send the bad kids off to the military? Why are you hanging on the block at midnight anyway? I don't have the answers but something is better than nothing.

As we keep killing our young men,we make it easier for racists to say we as a group are expendable. The next generation will be brought here by our menfolk. What do we do if most of them are gone, killed, incarcerated? I wish Black people would think once in a while about the consequences of their actions.
