New Push Movie Clip....

I went to support Tyler Perry's film over the weekend and I saw the trailer for the new movie PUSH: BASED ON THE NOVEL BY SAPPHIRE which is a story based on the 96 book by author Saphhire which describes the hardships in the life of a teen called Claireece Precious Jones who was abused by her mother, raped by her father, and changes her life around after entering an Alternative School program. The movie made its debut at the Sundance film festival and stars Monique, Paula Patton, Mariah Carey and a host of others! The trailer isn't out on the web yet but I was able to find this clip so enjoy!

I read this book... I have to say that I am torn between whether to see the movie or not... It's deep from the beginning to end! Not long at all (approx 200 pgs w/journal entries at the end). I would recommend reading the book prior to seeing the movie...just to be sure you get the full affect, and fill ins. I'm sure the editing will take away from some of the story!!!

I know the movie will be a good watch; the book is just such an emotional "put you right there" read! As I said, "from beginning to end"!
