Seems that Mariah Carey and her hubby Nick Cannon were serious about having a baby. The two were seen leaving an IVF clinic (fertility clinic) yesterday in San Diego, and from the looks of things they rushed there right after church. I wish them luck on having the baby, but they better hope that they don't end up with octuplets using those damn fertility drugs.

Mariah Carey and Jamie Foxx are among those set to perform at a New York theatre's 75th anniversary celebrations.
The event at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem will see music impresario Quincy Jones and RnB artist Patti LaBelle inducted into the venue's Hall of Fame .
The Apollo also will present its arts and humanitarian award to Bill Cosby and his wife, Camille

When the Check Stops Coming In: Nick Cannon Edition

Seems that Nick Cannon is having a little difficulties paying of his boo Mariah's $500,000 engagement ring. Apparently Nick tried to stiff the jeweler, but the jeweler wasn't having that so he threatened Nick's ass with a lawsuit. So now Nick is paying for the ring on an installment plan. This isn't that hard to believe, b/c if my memory serves me correctly the last thing he did was Wildin' Out and shyt that was about 3 years ago. Nick better get to saving them dollars.

New Push Movie Clip....

I went to support Tyler Perry's film over the weekend and I saw the trailer for the new movie PUSH: BASED ON THE NOVEL BY SAPPHIRE which is a story based on the 96 book by author Saphhire which describes the hardships in the life of a teen called Claireece Precious Jones who was abused by her mother, raped by her father, and changes her life around after entering an Alternative School program. The movie made its debut at the Sundance film festival and stars Monique, Paula Patton, Mariah Carey and a host of others! The trailer isn't out on the web yet but I was able to find this clip so enjoy!

Mariah Puts The Cuffs Down on Nick......

It seems we all know who's wearing the pants in the Cannon household. When Nick attempted to do a boys weekend Mariah put the lock down on real quick peep this out via the New York Post :

“Mariah Carey’s new husband was trying to have a boys’ weekend at Saturday’s opening of the MGM Grand at Foxwoods with pals Sean Combs and Quincy Jones when he got a call from Carey. ‘He was summoned home by her at 1 in the morning,’ a source said. ‘He didn’t look happy about it.’”

From what I hear in the streets the two plan on having an all out 4 million dollar ceremony in NYC to renew their vows..... Isn't that kind of quick why not just wait until your one year anniversary... Oh yea because you probably won't last that long!

No Lil' Mimi's.....

Mariah Carey has ruled out having kids of her own! In an interview with the UK version of OK! Magazine, Carey stated that having her own offspring would leave her feeling "violated."

In addition to, "I know that's a kind of weird thing to say, but that's how I am. It's hard to have kids in this world," she told the OK! reporter. "I don't think I could properly educate a child right now. Maybe in the future, but I actually haven't thought about it."

Maybe she'll change her mind. It would be terrible for that voice not to be passed on to the next generation!
