Why Did I Get Married Too? Trailer

why did i get married too Yesterday "Entertainment Tonight" aired the trailer for Tyler Perry’s movie Why Did Get Married Too, and I must say that this one seems like it may be just as good or better than the first one.  It also seemed that this movie will be a little bit more dramatic than the first one.  The movie is set to be released in April 2010, click here to watch the trailer.

Tyler Perry Plans for Future All-Star Cast

By Wilson Morales

When it was announced last week that Tyler Perry will be writing, directing and producing a film version of Ntozake Shange's award-winning 1975 play 'For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf,' there was plenty of talk as to who would be cast.

Well, while promoting his latest film, 'I Can Do Bad All By Myself,' which opens Sept. 11, Perry talked about who he wanted to appear in the movie. Among the chosen few are Oscar winner Halle Berry, Angela Bassett, Ruby Dee, Cicely Tyson, Maya Angelou, Oprah Winfrey, Thandie Newton, Kimberly Elise, Beyonce Knowles, Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys.

Of the 11 actresses mentioned, six have already committed to be in the film, but Perry wouldn't say who exactly.

Will Tyler Perry Make it to #1 Again???

I Can do Bad All by Myself

Four movies open in wide release across North America this week, and all should ring up decent returns in a competitive session that could alter early fall's reputation as a dumping ground for low-quality fare.

Weekend honors will likely go to Tyler Perry's "I Can Do Bad All by Myself," with prerelease tracking suggesting an opening in the $25 million-$30 million range for the Lionsgate release.

Perry's previous outing, "Madea Goes to Jail," posted a personal-best $41 million bow in February en route to grossing $90.5 million domestically. Yet during this frame's comparable weekend last year, Perry's "The Family That Preys" fell on the lower end of his openings with $17.4 million for a movie that went on to pull in just $37.1 million in North America.

Movie With Star Filled Cast Gets Rushed Straight to DVD

steppinWhat do Mo’Nique, Anthony Anderson, Fresh Prince alumnus James Avery, rapper Sticky Fingaz, political pundit Dick Gregory, Faizon Love, Clifton Powell, Urkel show alums Darius McCrary and Reginald VelJohnson and Miguel Nunez, Jr. have in common? If you answered Steppin’: The Movie, you’d be right. Directed by actor-turned-director Michael Taliferro, this straight-to-DVD production is just the latest in a long conga line of the genre of dance-driven productions mostly deservedly parodied by the Wayans Brothers in Dance Flick.

This variation on the theme is set on the campus of a historically-black college in Houston where apparently some of the shallowest human beings on the planet have matriculated. For instance, there’s Vicki (Monicka Allegeier), a student who gets ready to party by putting on what she refers to as her “get your freak on panties” in order to seduce Bryan (Chico Benymon), the funky frat boy of her dreams.

50 Cent's "The Streets Of Blood" Interview

Curtis James Jackson, III, aka 50 Cent was born on July 6, 1975 in South Jamaica, Queens, where he was raised by his single-mom until she was murdered when he was only 8. He was taken in by his grandparents, but began hanging out with the wrong kids and began selling crack by the age of 12. While still a teenager, he was arrested and convicted for drug dealing, and turned his life around while serving out a six-month sentence.

After being paroled, he parlayed his street cred into an enviable career in gangsta’ rap with the help of the late Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC, and the rest, as they say, is musical history. Here, he talks about his latest film, Streets of Blood, a crime thriller set in New Orleans and co-starring Val Kilmer.

Jennifer Hudson's 'Winged Creatures' Rechristened 'Fragments'

After winning Oscars in 2006 for their roles in 'The Last King of Scotland' and 'Dreamgirls,' respectively, Forest Whitaker and Jennifer Hudson worked together on a film called 'Winged Creatures.'

With a cast that includes Kate Beckinsale, Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce, Jackie Earle Haley, Josh Hutcherson, Embeth Davidtz, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Robin Weigert, the movie seemed, at the the very least, promising. Not quite.

It was shelved for three years while producers tried to find a distribution company. Now, with its new title, 'Fragments,' this Rowan Woods-directed film will be released in a limited number of theaters on July 31, with a DVD release date set for Aug. 4.

Disney Shows Black PPL Some Love...Sort Of

So Disney has this new movie coming out called “The Princess and the Frog", and I guess they thought it would be nice to finally have a black princess. Except there is one problem, Princess Tiana's love interest Prince Naveen looks more white than black, and as expected a lot of people are not happy about this. Personally, I could care less. Shit it is 2009 and we do have a biracial president, but then again you can't please everyone. Why SMH???

Tyler Perry Dominates Hollywood

If anybody had a reason to doubt whether Tyler Perry has become one of the most bankable brands in all of movies, be skeptical no longer.

'Madea Goes to Jail' wins big at the box office

The domestic dramedy maestro's latest release, Tyler Perry's "Madea Goes to Jail," ran away with a big victory on the typically slow Academy Awards weekend, grossing a hefty $41.1 million, according to early estimates from Media by Numbers.

That opening sum is the biggest of all time for a Tyler Perry film, besting the $30 million debut of 2006's "Madea's Family Reunion." Too, it's the top bow in the history of indie studio Lionsgate, improving upon all the Tyler Perry and "Saw" flicks that came before it. The movie's per-theater average of $20,236 ranks in the top 40 for all wide openers ever.

And, no surprise, "Madea Goes to Jail" achieved all this success with a solid A CinemaScore grade from a crowd that included mostly older women. Video Watch Tyler Perry talk about his success »

Second place went to "Taken," which added another $11.4 million to its four-week tally, bringing said total to $95.2 million. Fellow strong holdover "Coraline" (No. 3) was next with $11 million.

"He's Just Not That Into You" (No. 4) declined a sharp 56 percent to bank $8.5 million on its third weekend. And Best Picture favorite "Slumdog Millionaire" rounded out the top five with $8.1 million -- a sum that brings its domestic total to $98 million.

Tyler Gears up for Why Did I Get Married Too!

For all those fans who couldn't get enough of "Why Did I Get Married" Tyler has decided to come back with a sequel entitled "Why Did I Get Married Too". In a recent interview he gave all the details:

Will there be another pairing with Tasha Smith?
Tyler Perry: ‘Why Did Get Married Too?’ I’m writing it right now.

Why do a sequel to the film?
Tyler Perry: Because there is so much I want to say. There’s not another film that I have written that I felt like there’s more to say; and there’s more say in ‘Why Did I Get Married Too.’

Will it the same cast or a new group of actors?
Tyler Perry: It will be the same cast. Everybody. I won’t do it without the original cast.

What’s the storyline?
Tyler Perry: I can’t talk about it now, but it’s going to be great.

I can't wait.. This should be good!

Notorious #4 At Box Office

The biopic of rapper Christopher "Biggie" Wallace's life made $24 million its first week making it #4 in the box office. This probably had something to do with the fact it was only shown in only 1, 638 theaters compared to the 3,144 theaters the #1 movie Paul Blart: Mall Cop was shown in WTF.... but by no means was the movie a flop, Notorious made more money per theater than any film this week. And for those of ya'll that haven't seen it I suggest you do because it's the ISH!!!
