Jennifer Hudson Gives Birth to a Baby Boy!!!

Sources are saying that Jennifer Hudson gave birth late last night with her fiancé David by her side.  The couple decided to name the child David Daniel Otunga, Jr. after his father and the baby weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces.  I wish them the best.

After winning Oscars in 2006 for their roles in 'The Last King of Scotland' and 'Dreamgirls,' respectively, Forest Whitaker and Jennifer Hudson worked together on a film called 'Winged Creatures.'

With a cast that includes Kate Beckinsale, Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce, Jackie Earle Haley, Josh Hutcherson, Embeth Davidtz, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Robin Weigert, the movie seemed, at the the very least, promising. Not quite.

It was shelved for three years while producers tried to find a distribution company. Now, with its new title, 'Fragments,' this Rowan Woods-directed film will be released in a limited number of theaters on July 31, with a DVD release date set for Aug. 4.

J Hud stepped out with her baby bump on full display when her and David "Punk" ate at a Chipotle restaurant in Florida earlier this week! According to sources Jennifer is 8 months pregnant and will deliver sometime this summer!

Yes, he was there and for a couple of days afterwards while I stayed in hospital, but John and I are no longer together. When you have a baby you’re dealing with a lot of emotions and I don’t know how much of it had to do with us breaking up, but it happens. We definitely love our son and we are co-parenting and working on being friends. It is what it is. I have a lot of support, so I want for nothing as far as that’s concerned. I know some might criticize me or the fact that my son is being raised in a single-parent home, but I wasn’t raised in a two-parent home and I had a good relationship with my dad. I have hopes for him and I’m sure his father will do his part as well.

A source tells the Sun-Times that Jennifer Hudson celebrated her pregnancy with a baby shower on Saturday. The source said the actress and singer is seven months pregnant. The shower was largely attended by family members, the source said. Rumors have been rampant that Hudson and fiancee David Otunga, a former reality-TV star training to wrestle professionally, were expecting a baby.

She recently postponed dates on her concert tour with Robin Thicke, claiming vocal cord strain. She has worn loose-wasted tops at some recent public appearances, furthering the speculation. Hudson and Otunga have been planning a wedding. While they haven’t divulged the date, Hudson previously said she planned to include her three dogs — Oscar, Grammy and Dreamgirl — in the ceremony. Hudson’s publicist did not return a phone call seeking comment today. In April, the publicist denied the rumors, telling the Sun-Times Hudson wasn’t pregnant.

The pic above is what sparked the rumors about Jennifer Hudson being pregnant and for a few months she was denying the rumors, but Jennifer revealed during a recent interview with Essence.com that she is indeed expecting. Jennifer and her baby's daddy David Otunga are engaged and are expected to wed later this year. So congrats to them both, and it is good to see some happiness coming her way.

Walt on Jennifer’s American Idol tryouts: “I paid for the hotel room and she paid for the car, I think. I’d buy her clothes on my American Express card and then she’d perform in them and I’d return them the next day. I promised her that I wouldn’t stop until the whole world saw her.

On her fans: “It’s one of the most beautiful things, to see that love from fans, but it can be a bit much. I don’t like it when people get all emotional and cry. I don’t want you to cry. It makes me uncomfortable. The other day this lady came up to me and got really close to me, and I thought, ‘What is it that makes people want to…embrace me? And how do I react to it?"

HMM...This should be an interesting issue.

Jennifer Hudson is setting the record straight about her rumored pregnancy and marriage, well at least her publicist is. According to her publicist both of these rumors are "ridiculous and not true". I guess I will cut J. Hud some slack this time, but judging from the photo I suggest that she wears a girdle next time.

Turns out that all these rumors about Jennifer Hudson performing at the inauguration are completely false.

Jennifer Hudson will not be singing at Barack Obama’s inauguration on January 20, despite reports to the contrary, her rep told Access Hollywood. “There is no truth to this,” the rep said.
The New York Post reported on Wednesday that Jennifer was in talks to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the ceremony, but the rep told Access that the star has no plans to participate in any inaugural activities.

I must say I am extremely disappointed to hear this because I was looking forward to seeing her perform.

J. Hud is Stepping Back Into the SPOTLIGHT in ' 09

We all know about the tragedy that J. Hud endured this past October, but she is not letting this keep her down. It is reported that J. Hud has been scheduled to sing the star spangled banner at the upcoming inauguration this month.

Jennifer Hudson's Proposal

J. Hudson revealed how her fiancee', David "Punk" Otunga, made his marriage proposal on her birthday. She had to do some digging in the sand to get the prize:

“I had no clue at all… We went to the beach during the day and he blindfolded me… and he gave me a purple shovel, because purple’s my favourite colour… and I had to dig."

“I ended up digging through all this sand. When I found it, it was like a bunch of beautiful cards… one related to the other, and the last one said, ‘Look around, take the moment in, turn around and I have a gift for you.’”

Jennifer states that her husband-to-be is a "beautiful guy" and she's extremely happy. We wish them the best because we don't need any repeats from other stars (ex: Star Jones, etc.)
