Chris Brown Not the Reason Why Beyonce and Jay-Z Did Not Attend BET Awards

Since Sunday’s BET Awards there have been several speculations about why Beyonce and Jay-Z did not attend the show, and according to BET executive Stephen Hill Chris Brown had nothing to do with it.  Peep what he told All Hip Hop.com below.

They missed the awards, because…we have this conversation almost every year. And, some years we are really fortunate when Jay-Z and Beyonce are in the house and other times, they go on vacation. But I can absolutely say without reservation that there was no conversation at all around, “If Chris Brown’s coming, I’m not coming.” That’s just false.

CHRIS BROWN BACK WORIKNG

Chris Brown has reportedly scheduled his official live performance since his February altercation with then-girlfriend Rihanna landed him a probation and community labor sentence.

The artist is due to headline New York radio station Power 105's Powerhouse concert at the Izod Center in New Jersey on Oct. 27.

CHRIS BROWN ACTIONS WILL GIVE RIHANNA A GREAT CD

Rihanna is set to blast ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in her new songs.

The 'Umbrella' singer is yet to speak about her volatile relationship with the 20-year-old singer - who recently pleaded guilty to assaulting her and was sentenced to five years probation and six months community labour - for the first time in a track on her upcoming album.

Ne-Yo, who is working with the 21-year-old singer on the record, said: "Expect an edgier, almost angrier Rihanna on this one. Rihanna says some things on this album that you've never heard her say before."

It is thought Rihanna could be planning to sing about the assault, or about the violence which marred the relationship.

Tila Talks ISH about Chris Brown on Twitter

Apparently Tila Tequila is still upset about the fact that Shawne Merriman’s charges that he had for supposedly beating her were dropped, and now she is popping off on C. Breezy too for being a woman beater. Here’s what she Tweeted,

Chris Brown Will NOT be Participating in MJ Tribute

I guess Jermaine didn’t know what the hell he was talking about when he released a statement the other day claiming that Chris Brown would be participating in an upcoming tribute to his late brother Michael Jackson.

The “Forever” singer has put the kibosh on any plans to perform at the M.J. tribute concert in Vienna, hours after Jermaine Jackson announced Brown would be among the headliners at the Sept. 26 show.

“Chris is not confirmed to perform or participate in any capacity for this show,” the publicist for Brown’s label tells E! News.”

I guess I can cut Jermaine some slack since he is getting old, and we all know memory is one of the first things to go.

Mary J. & Chris Brown to Perform at MJ Tribute

Chris Brown, Mary J Blige, Sister Sledge and Natalie Cole will be among the artists performing at the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna.

Speaking at a press conference, Jackson's brother Jermaine told reporters that up to 25 performers had been lined up to sing.

The artists will play some of Jackson's greatest hits at the concert, including Thriller and Billie Jean.

More acts will be revealed later this week, Jackson said.

Akon, Angela Bassett, and the Germany-based boy band US5 will also perform at the gig, which will take place in front of Vienna's former imperial Schoenbrunn Palace.

Jermaine said the venue had been chosen because his brother "loved castles".

He also revealed that he planned to sing a virtual duet with his late brother.

Another Sneak Peek from Larry King’s Interview with C. Breezy

In the sneak peek yesterday Chris Brown claimed that he blacked out and doesn’t remember hitting Rihanna, and since then he has released a statement, which is posted below. Click here to watch another clip from the interview.

“There have been reports on the internet that I didn’t remember what happened that night with Rihanna. I want to try and set things straight.

That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times — and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said.

The first four times – or how ever many times it was – I gave the same answer — which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna. The fifth time – or whatever it was – I just misspoke. I was asked, “Do you remember doing it?” and I said, “No.”

Of course I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can’t believe it happened because it is not me or who I am or is what happened like anything I have ever done before.

As I have said several times previously, I am ashamed of and sorry for what happened that night and I wish I could relive that moment and change things, but I can’t. I take full responsibility for my actions. What I have to do now is to prove to the world that this was an isolated incident and that is not who I am and I intend to do so by my behavior now and in the future.”

Chris Brown Doesn’t Remember Hitting Rihanna?

C Breezy headed to Larry King Live to try to fix his f*cked up public image.  Two things to notice:  1) Can you get cornier than a bowtie and baby blue sweater?  I guess a man dressing that corny could never hit a woman, right?  2) Chris says he didn’t remember hitting Ri-Ri…..does that mean drugs or alcohol was involved? 

Chris needs to just get some help and be done with it.  The CNN story about it is below:

 

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Pop star Chris Brown has admitted guilt and apologized for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in February, but he does not remember hitting the singer, he told CNN's Larry King.

Looking at police reports about the incident makes him feel like he's reading about a stranger, Brown said in his first television interview since the arrest.

"I'm in shock, because, first of all, that's not who I am as a person, and that's not who I promise I want to be," he said in an exclusive interview that airs Wednesday night.

"I just don't know what to think. I'm just like, wow," Brown said. "It's crazy to me."

Brown, 20, said he still loves singer Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

But, he added, it is tough for him to look at the photo showing Rihanna's battered face, the one image that might haunt and define him forever.

Judge Puts the HAMMER down on Chris Brown!

A judge on Tuesday sentenced Chris Brown to five years' probation and six months' community labor for the beating of Rihanna and ordered the R&B singer to stay away from his former girlfriend for the next five years.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg told Brown that he could be sent to state prison if he violated any terms of his sentence, including an order to stay 100 yards away from Rihanna unless they're attending music industry events.

A probation report prepared for Tuesday's sentencing describes two previous violent incidents. It said the first happened about three months before the February beating while the couple was traveling in Europe; Rihanna slapped Brown during an argument, and he shoved her into a wall. In the second instance, Brown allegedly broke the front and passenger side windows on a Range Rover they were driving while visiting Barbados, Rihanna's home country. Neither attack was reported, the probation report states.

Rihanna’s Mom Fears for Her Relationship with Chris

The picture above is of Chris Brown as he left the court house yesterday where he was suppose to be given his community service time, but that court date has been changed to another date.  In other Chrianna (haven’t seen that in a while) news Rihanna’s mom has spoke with Star Magazine about her concerns of Rihanna still wanting to be around Chris.

I’m devastated, but what can I do? We love her but can’t stand to see her play Russian roulette with her life. Chris has a bizarre power over her. She still loves him and he knows it. In her eyes, he’s a god. Even after what he did, it’s not diminished.

Jay Z Confronts the Rumors

During a radio show in London last night Jay Z finally responded to the rumors that he stopped Chris Brown from coming to the BET Awards and also his recent beef with The Game.

That’s the silliest rumor I’ve ever heard. First let me categorically deny that, that’s not even my style. If I have a problem with Chris brown, I have a problem with Chris Brown. I haven’t said anything live or behind the scenes. I don’t agree with what he did and that’s it. But as far as not letting him perform on BET, that’s ridiculous, that’s stupid and that’s a sucker move. I wouldn’t do it. And people commenting on rumors, that’s a sucker move.
