The crazed ex-con who killed his girlfriend's son then opened fire inside a Queens bus packed with commuters, killing another man, was hoping for a bloodbath, prosecutors charge.
"The defendant stated that he would have shot more people but the gun jammed," prosecutor Suzanne O'Hare said in Queens Criminal Court during Damel Burton's arraignment.
Burton carried a 9-mm. Ruger pistol with four rounds in it, and was carrying another nine rounds when he was captured Friday just after the shooting, court papers revealed.
