Boston Celtics Player Jeff Green Out For The Season With Heart Condition




 Boston Celtics forward Jeff Green received a shocking health diagnosis shortly before the start of the 2011-2012 NBA season. During a physical, an aortic aneurysm was detected. According to a statement issued by the team, the 25-year-forward will undergo surgery on January 9 and will miss the entire season.

Green joined the Celtics via trade last season after playing the first three seasons of his career with the Seattle Supersonics and Oklahoma City Thunder. The Georgetown product has career averages of 13.9 points per game and 5.5 rebounds.
