Clifton has been charged with 14 count of statutory rape by an authority figure, 11 counts aggravated statutory rape, 14 counts of furnishing alcohol to minors and 14 counts contributing to the delinquency of a minor.



Cindy Clifton allegedly plied the boys, aged 14 to 17, from Crestview Middle School with alcohol and slept with them in her home in Covington, Tennessee between April 11 and July 15, ABC 24 reports.
The popular reading teacher has been charged with more offences against underage children than any teacher in the US in the last decade.
Many of her alleged victims are believed to have been friends with her teenage daughter who attended alcohol-fuelled parties at her house.
The charges came three months after Covington police launched an investigation after the principal received several complaints.
"The complaints were from parents of students who got information from their children that alcohol was being provided to them at parties given by Mrs. Clifton," the police report said.
