Serena Williams is known for, what is perceived by many, her paranoia on the tennis court; her stance often being that people are out to get her and see her fail.
This, though, takes the cakes. (Pun intended)
After a sports association drug tester showed up --- unannounced --- to the fashion forward athlete’s L.A. mansion, Serena, allegedly, believing him to be an intruder, fled to her home’s panic room to protect herself.
TMZ reports that her assistant called 911 around 6:00 a.m. local time, reporting that a “prowler” was on Williams’ property. Police quickly arrived at the scene, but left after discovering that a misunderstanding occurred. No word yet on if Williams’ submitted a urine sample, but kudos go to her for the most inventive duck and dodge of a drug test in recent memory.
