Amid reports that BET has banned Teairra Mari’s new video “Sponsor” because it glorifies golddiggers, word has it that the singer may still appear on the network’s video countdown show “106 & Park.”
In the buzzed-about track, featuring Gucci Mane and Soulja Boy, Mari sings about finding a man who can be her “sponsor,” the 2010 term for “sugardaddy,” and continuously gift her with expensive items.

How can we get upset at Tierra for her song 'Sponsor', when we have an all male industry who exploit women EVERYDAY but their videos STILL get airplay.
Lest we not forget about Nelly's 'Tipdrill' video that aired late nights on BET.
