Shyne Lands $1 Mil Deal With Def Jam

Being released from prison four months ago, Shyne's return to rap was sidetracked when immigration took it upon itself to have him deported back to Belize.
Since then, Po has been fighting to obtain residency in the United States while being barred from areas such as the United Kingdom due to his criminal past.
These obstacles, however, have yet to throw him from his path as the rapper has signed a deal with Def Jam Records for $1 million.
According to Miss Info, the label was able to reign victorious over a bidding war. His last album, 2004's Godfather Buried Alive, came out on Def Jam. The response to that album in comparison to his debut, however, would have left some to believe that

Former Roc-A-Fella artist and Jay-Z protégé, Beanie Sigel, hasn't been shy about his disappointment on how his former boss and BFF Jay-Z treated him once the Roc-A-Fella empire was a wrap.
But now it seems that Beans has turned his radar to a new CEO, but this lyrical jab may have some people raising eyebrows.
At Freeway's concert last night (February 16), Beanie came on stage and freestyled not only about Jay-Z, but pointed out the fact that T.I., who was sentenced to one year for a weapons and drug related offence, was released after serving just eight months of his sentence for good behavior, although he had an array of charges an evidence that for the average person would have resulted in a much harsher sentence.

With the rehashed hostility that Beanie Sigel apparently still has for Jay-Z, many have come to speculate why no other member of the former Roc has stepped up to try and provide more clarity.
Peedi Crakk led his own anti-Jay campaign some time ago and Oschino was quick to take his shots at Jigga along with Sigel.
As a rapper that found himself essentially caught in the middle of a beef, Freeway has finally been able to add more of his input on the ongoing issues that Beans has with Hov.

Raekwon released via his twitter a glimpse to his fans of what the cover art for the upcoming collaboration album Wu Massacre, which features Method Man and Ghostface will be.
The album, which will be the first collaboration for the three Wu-Tang members alone, will be the first release from the Wu-Tang click as a collective in over 3 years. Although the album consists of only Raekwon, Ghostface and Method Man, Raekwon insists that it is Wu-Tang for life:

Wacka Flocka's Robbers Pose With His "Brick Squad" Chain

The infamous Brick Squad chain robber that shot Atlanta rapper Wacka Flocka, has finally been revealed.
The incident which wasinitially reported by Hip-Hop Wired, took place on January 18th, as the “O Let's Do It” rapper was at an Atlanta gas station.
Reports state that the rapper was shot twice which resulted in a week stay in the hospital.
Karen Civil (KarenCivil.com) got her hands on the pic of the robber, holding up the chain like a medal.
Wacka Flocka, who previously stated in countless interviews that his chain was never taken, has some questioning the validity of the photo.

Trying to place his best foot forward with the debut albumThank Me Later, Young Money's Drake has tried to make the best first impression and created a wish list of potential features which will bring his sound out the best.
