Nas Owes Uncle Sam Some Money

Nasir Jones' dirty legal battle with Kelis looks like child's play compared to his current issue with the law. As previously reported, the mother of baby Knight took him to court for spousal and child support claiming the lavish lifestyle she grew accustomed to had to be maintained. Now his soon to be ex-wife's asking in his earnings seems meager compared to what the government's demanding.

According to reports, Nas owes ‘The Man' over $2 million in unpaid taxes, $2,584,206 million to be exact. The Internal revenue service is set to take him to court for the back pay later this year.

In the meantime he'll empty out his wallet to Kelis who receives over$44,000 a month in child support and legal fees. Although they've been seen together and look to be reconciling, their final divorce proceeding will be November 20. 

Damn Nas, $2.5 million in taxes. What's with everyone “forgetting” to pay their taxes?

Nas and Kelis Back Together???

 

 

Word on the street is that Nas and Kelis may be getting back together.  The two reportedly arrived together at a party last night in New York City, and from the look of things they seemed to be getting along.  Maybe they have decided to still be friends since the divorce, then again saving $55,000 a month can cause anyone to stay with someone.

Kelis Wants More Money

 

Apparently Kelis is not happy with the $55,000 a month that she was receiving from Nas for child and spousal support, and now she wants to up the amount to $77,000 a month for her spousal support and also increase the child support by $18,000.  This is the exact amount of money Kelis is asking for,

- Nas pulls in $244,826 a month
– Kelis rakes in a relatively paltry $13,744 a month
– Kelis should get child support totaling $17,225 a month
– Kelis should get spousal support totaling $72,728
– Nas should pay retro child support totaling $29,522
– Nas should pay retro spousal support totaling $281,571

Umm….Where the hell is Nas getting this $244,826 a month from and where is she getting this $13, 744 a month, because it has been a few years since she has had a hit. ???

Does Nas have Another Baby on the Way?

Seems that Nas may be following in the footsteps of Lil’ Wayne because sources are saying that his on and off–again girlfriend is now pregnant.  It has not been confirmed that Nas is the father and I hope he isn’t because I don’t think he has another $55,000 to giveaway a month.

Kelis is One Lucky Baby’s Mama

Now last week I told you all about Nas not paying the $5,000 a month in child support to Kelis and that she was complaining that he only gave her a gift certificate for a few thousand dollars.  Well now the baby is here and the entire situation has changed.  Kelis has been awarded $55,000 a month in child support from Nas and in addition to this he must pay for the baby’s nurse, prenatal expenses, medical insurance and $35,000 to Kelis’ lawyer.  DAMN who would of ever thought that Nas had bank like that???  I see him filing for bankruptcy some time in the near future.

Reasons Why Nas and Kelis’ Baby Will Need Therapy

First off let me correct the fact that I said Kelis had her baby two days ago, apparently she was in labor for 3 days and did not give birth to her son Knight until last night.

10) Your stepsister had her baby seat skeeted on by Jay-Z and he made a song about it.
9) Your parents had sex with blindfolds and made a song about it.
8 ) Your friends will have both of these songs on their iPods and torture you with them.
7) Your uncle’s name is Jungle He will swear to you he is a rapper. Don’t believe him.

6) Your dad can’t drive but owns many cars. You will be his chauffeur one day.
5) Your birth will be on Twitter.

Kelis Gives Birth!!!

First off let me say CONGRATS to Kelis on giving birth to her first child today, but I just can not help but wonder why Nas was not there.  Some sources are saying that Kelis did not want Nas to view the birth while other sources are saying that he just did not show up, but one thing is clear and that is that HE WAS NOT THERE.  I wonder what his excuse will be???

Is Nas a Deadbeat???

I will let you decide on this one. According to Kelis Nas agreed to pay $5000 a month to support their unborn son, but so far he has only given her a $350 check and a gift certificate for $2,500. Now if it was me I wouldn't be complaining because $2,500 alone would satisfy me but then again I am not a celebrity, so in that case $5,000 does not seem like it would be enough either. I guess Nas is broker than I expected.

Some are great role models with real academic achievements. Some are not. Some are no longer alive. Some fathers are locked up, but they are praying for their kids and hoping to be on the streets soon and be betters dads 1 day.

We deserve the love!!! Becuz we don’t even expect it, we do what we do regardless! With no signs of a reward for it. We put up with everything, standing true to what’s real and letting life take its course protecting our household, our woman, our children, our family. Protecting and leading a nation. Shout out to my pops, a great man! Blessings to our granddads who came b4 us who laid the seeds and the foundation….I wish every dad take a minute to look at what’s he’s done…just a minute…No need to glance too long.. Just smile.

This lovely day I would like to touch on cheaters. Super brief! Why be cowardly? Why not go after what you really want? Do people know what they want? Nas Gives Back To The Homeless.....

Nas, who is well known for tackling social issues in his songs, is taking steps toward dipping his toes in social problems that exist in the real world. According to recent reports by the Associated Press, Nas says he’s ready to do his part to curb homelessness in America….… “We have it good here in America. We’re spoiled,”Nas said. “We don’t realize that people are poor, don’t have food, no water in this same world we live in. Those are the things I’m concerned with and need to talk about,” he added. It’s great to see an established artist like Nas stepping up with a renewed sense of purpose. Here’s hoping that more rappers will follow suit.

Yup the girl whose "Milkshake" brought all the boys to the yard is expecting her first child with hubby Nas.

“It’s all they are talking about. She is carrying hip-hop royalty!” says the insider, who adds Kelis — currently in her first trimester — already has a little bump. “They are so excited.”
