The FBI file of Russell Jones, or most commonly known by his stage name Ol’ Dirty Bastard, has been revealed.

The file was released to Rick Jones, contributor to the website, Gun.io, who says that one of his “hobbies is liberating government documents using Freedom of Information Act requests,” which he used to collect ODB’s file. The Freedom of Information Act allows anyone to obtain FBI records of the deceased.

Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s file can be found online and gives detailed information about his alleged criminal life. Some of which include suspected offenses during his membership in the Wu-Tang Clan, in the late-1990s such as,

· “the sale of drugs”

· Possession of “illegal guns”

· “murder”

· “car jackings”

Russell Jones (ODB) was one of the founders of the Hip-Hop group Wu-Tang Clan, formed in the early-1990s, and a solo artist, who faced both legal and personal troubles. The often criticized rapper died 7 years ago of an accidental drug overdose.
