I agree with much of what you said but as you know male infidelity isn’t a new thing at all. It’s just covered more now because of the 24/7 news cycle, the Internet and the realization about the general public’s appetite for such stories. The tools for catching cheaters have also become more prevalent in the past ten years (cell phone cameras, social networking, low-jacks, etc…). Imagine how bad powerful men ran around on their wives or girlfriends before these tools or the women’s rights movement. Scary thought. To be fair, the problem isn’t exclusive to athletes, entertainers, or even the powerful and/or wealthy (although they are typically the usual suspects). Chris Rock said it best that most ‘men are basically as faithful as their options.’ Eddie Murphy once stated that ‘all men cheat’ but that’s not necessarily true because droves of women aren’t throwing themselves at the janitors and busboys of the world. If Denzel, Michael Jordan or George Clooney were pizza delivery men I’m sure many women would consider them ‘cute’ or even charming guys, but not sex-symbols or even husband material in most cases (honestly, I don’t blame y’all…it takes a lot of money to really make it in America). It’s like saying that Rihanna or Kim Kardashian would be as famous if they weren’t attractive or sexed up…yeah, ok, heard anything from that epic voice of Kelly Price lately??? India.Arie anyone??? Women MUST understand that promiscuity is oftentimes the trade off with famous, young, healthy, good-looking and prosperous men. You alluded to this a little bit when you said that these guys should wait a little later in their lives to get hitched. I agree with you and I personally know a San Diego Charger who is doing just that. If women want a guy that is likely to be faithful to them they should give regular, hard working, good guys more of a chance. I realize it’s tough for women to do because the dollar is worth less and less each year and successful marriages are definitely linked to prosperity. Plus there’s no guarantee that the regular guy will be faithful either. Still, I doubt gals like Vanessa Bryant, the former Juanita Jordan, Elin Nordegen Woods should cry/would change TOO MUCH about their choices of men. I’m not saying that they were only about money but we can all agree that their husband’s earning powers played a part in their initial hookup and they ALL made out better than 99.9% of most divorcees. Thanx for reading…
As far as KOBE, is concern he is a great basketball player, but very self centered as if he is something special. He dis, his parent when they object to him marrying that girl. He could have marry Randi, the singer but he want some mexican, whatever she maybe. So I hope she take his B ass to the cleaner, That uneducated ediot.
I must not be one of those "nice-guys," because I wasn't willing to pay to hear what "nice-guys" don't do that will attract women. You know, I've attributed this to people's inability to make "decisions." And we tend to be attracted to the ones who posses the character traits that aren't compatible with yours. It kinda works both way, because You must step up your game too, in order to make the relationship work. It can't always be "the other person's fault" it didn't work out.
