Brawling For The Lord: Fight Breaks Out In Memphis Church Between Pastor’s Wife and His Mistress

Talk about getting it poppin’ in the pulpit.
BlackmediaSCOOP.com reports that a brawl worthy of an Atlanta strip club on Saturday night broke out at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis last Sunday.
During the Communion services (you know when the blood and body of Christ is consumed), two women got into a knock-down, drag-out slugfest, leaving members caught in the cross-fire with “swollen and bloodshot eyes, cuts on their necks and chest, and other minor injuries.”
But it’s getter worse --- or better for the drama hounds.
Though news reports initially claimed that the two women were random church members, a police investigation revealed that it was really Pastor Frank Ray’s wife and his mistress that were swinging for the savior!

Sooooo, we at Your Black World have a few questions for the wife and mistress who've just embarrassed themselves, their church and their families by fighting over a man in the middle of the blood of Jesus (and other people's blood):

- What, if any, of these actions make you "sanctified" in any way?  Does ANY of this have ANYTHING to do with Jesus Christ?
- Do you realize how silly you both look?  Shouldn't you both be beating down the pastor who has been playing you against one another?
- Aren't there other men out there you can have instead of chasing the man who sat there and watched you two make fools out of yourselves in front of the world?

They both need to go read a scripture and sit down somewhere --- after this Protestant pimp is kicked to the curb.

Nothing new here...pimps and preachers are synonymous.

The Missus should have taken a cast iron skillet upside his head in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost after being released by the police. The church should fire him.

"Pastor" Ray need to be kicked to the curb. He and those women need to be ashamed of themselves. Mr. Man need a visit from God himself for being in the pulpit pretending to pastor.

This just another example of what is wrong with these so called Churches. Pastors misuse of their authority and the anointing. I'm sure there will be those confused souls who will step up and say he should be forgiven because after all he is a man and therefore imperfect. Bullhoowey! He is false prophet! Wolf in sheep clothes. As for the ladies and they are...we don't know what transpired to bring that situation to a head at such an inopportune and inappropriate time but, it had to be a lulu. I mean if the pastor's wife didn't already have the skillet and showed up with a white T and jeans and some Nikes ......well my money is on she just put it all together and snapped! After all the trick embarrassed and disrespected her in front of the Congregation ,she was gonna whoop That tale in front of the congregation and ask forgiveness on the Blood and acceptance of the Body later! It just didn't quite work out that way, is all. Plus homeboy WALKED into church in the first place. Just saying......

I choose not to judge because the bible tells us to throw the first stone if we're free of sin. But what will say is that this is a hot mess, if true. I hope people do not think all churches and preachers are the same, although we seem to be headed in that direction. God help us all!

When I was young and full of pride, I used to say what I would and wouldn't do. But now the years have rolled forward and I realize that anything is possible, even when you're trying to live for the Lord. Making a mistake doesn't disqualify any of us from being used by the Almighty. Read the bible and you will realize that there are a very few people who were considered blameless (not free from sin) before the Lord. The bible teaches us that there is not one sinless except our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Please pray for and not prey on the church family, especially the pastor and his wife. If they do not hold it together, the entire church family will suffer for many years to come (even more than they already will). Nothing surprises me!

I should hope that the Pastor straightens this all out. Did he believe that his affair would stay under cover? He as a Pastor is suppose to be an example of Christian behavior. Forget about forgiveness, that's just a method used to keep it keeping on. What is used to explain away bad behavior should be the motivation to stay on the straight path.

I have and do read the Bible. And I am really tired of people putting their own spin on "sin" and transgressions. When you speak of i
the imperfect people in the Bible their acts of perdition were committed BEFORE they were asked by Christ to walk with him, and not after they had accepted him as their teacher and Savior. We are talking about the leadership of the church here. So while he was LEADING those young man down a dark road, while he was trusted with the most valuable treasure of the congregation, he needs to be excused for his unnatural weaknesses? Really?... I guess you either have no kids or it wasn't yours that got touched. spare me Please
