A cop awaiting trial on charges of plotting to steal $900,000 from a drug dealer's old apartment has now been busted for confronting a witness, the Daily News has learned.
Shawn Jenkins, 43, was charged last Wednesday with tampering with a witness in the case of the would-be burglary.
"I found out that you testified against me," he told the woman inside her Amsterdam Ave. building, according to court papers. "I have known your family for a long time and I can't believe you are doing this and saying I did these things."
