Single Ladies, co-star, LisaRaye McCoy finally responds to the numerous claims that she was instrumental in the reported firing of Stacey Dash from VH1’s hit series, Single Ladies.
In response to recent Media Take Out and In Touch Weekly reports, the ever candid LisaRaye posted the following statement to her Facebook wall: “As everyone knows I am in Italy vacationing. I was just made aware of the lies that are being spread by Mediatakeout and other blogs that like to create false stories. I was not even aware that Stacy Dash had been fired from Single Ladies.

Furthermore if she has been fired that is a network decision. I don’t have the power to get her fired nor do I have any beef with her. Now I’m going to go continue enjoying my vacation!” To date, LisaRaye has not issued another statement regarding the report on Dash’s termination from the show.
Sources claim that Dash’s diva-like behavior did not work well with the show’s producer, Queen Latifah. Neither Latifah nor the network has issued an official statement regarding the situation with Ms. Dash. The popular relationship series has been renewed for its second season.

Iam not surprised. Queen Latifah cannot relate to anyone who is of substance, intelligent and without ghetto mentality. Stacy represented class. The others on the show are pawns and would stoop to the Lesbian's bidding. What a shame. I will encourage all my friends not to watch the show behind this mess. Stacy Dash was the best reason to watch the show.
Hooray!! Stacey is gone her voice is hideous, she's skinny like she's on something and she's not a good actress. Please don't get mad because of my opinion. Queen Latifah rocks!

I am sorry to hear that Stacy will no longer be with the show. Single Ladies has just lost a loyal fan.
I loved Stacy and her storyline. The other 2 girls cannot act....sorry 4 the truth. Stacy is beautiful and classy. The show won't be the same.
