NAACP Speaks Up for Master P

*Master P and son Romeo were performing at a night club in Hourma, La last week when a crew of 40 narcotics officers filled the place, along with a SWAT team.

In attendance were about 80-100 people at the nearly 300-person capacity venue. The law enforcements’ objective was unknown. Some speculated it might have been racially motivated.

“It had racial overtones,” Jerome Boykin, head of Terrebonne’s NAACP told local paper Houma Today. “When you have white rock groups come to town you don’t have this much.”
