Mel Gibson has been romantically linked to six women - including Britney Spears.
The Lethal Weapon star - whose wife of 28 years, Robyn Gibson, filed for divorce on Friday - has been seen with a string of women over recent months, including the 27-year-old Womanizersinger.
Marital tensions reportedly worsened when the 53-year-old actor let Britney use his Costa Rican home in 2008.
"Mel invited Britney to his estate to offer a place of respite. He also took her for dinner in Los Angeles. But the innuendo and whispers got to Robyn. She had to get out and this meant divorce," a source said.
