Slapping chicks up in the club for talking to your man sounds like something that would go down on an episdoe of VH1′s ‘Love & Hip Hop,’ but it was former Grey’s Anatomy actor Isaiah Washington’s wife Jenisa Marie Garland who was spotted putting the hand of God on her make up artist recently. According to eye witnesses, Merc Arceneaux [the make up artist] was assaulted after Jenisa saw her chatting it up with Isaiah while at Club Deep in Hollywood.

“Jenisa marched up to Merc while she was chatting with Isaiah and said, ‘Really, Merc? Really?. She threw a drink in Merc’s face. And when Merc said to Isaiah, ‘Talk to your wife,’ Jenisa slapped Merc across the face.”

There’s got to be something deeper there. She can’t just be randomly slapping up women who talk to her husband. Star Magazine reached out to Merc who told them “[Jenisa] had no right to put her hands on me,” however, she didn’t get into the details of what led up to the tantrum.

“My feelings are hurt — I never received an apology.”

Isaiah’s wife may have been drinking on that ‘Naomi Campbell Juice’, that night. Looks like she’ll have to find a new make up artist.

As far as Isaiah, he was allegedly blacklisted in Hollywood after being fired from Grey’s Anatomy for using a homophobic slur towards a cast mate. Since then, he has released a book titled: ‘A Man From Another Land: How Finding My Roots Changed My Life’ in which he explored issues of self-image, race and identity. On Friday Reuters reports that Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has named Rosalind Brewer president and chief executive of Sam’s Club warehouse retail chain. This marks a historic time for both women and the black community in the corporate space. It is the first time that Wal-Mart, one of the world’s largest retailers, will have a woman and an African American heading one of its three business entities.

Friday was a successful day for two other women employees at Wal-Mart. Gisel Ruiz became the US chief operating officer and Karenann Terrell became Wal-Mart’s chief information officer. These promotions support its case that women are treated equally at the large corporation. Last year the US Supreme Court ruled against a class-action lawsuit brought on by women who claimed that female employees were subject to discrimination in receiving raises and promotions from the company.

According to MTV:

Beyoncé and hip-hop hubby Jay-Z are reportedly hoping to become the first artists to make a music video in space.
The couple – who welcomed their first child Blue Ivy last weekend - apparently want to go where no popstar has been before, with record execs already making inquires about shooting scenes on one of Sir Richard Branson‘s Virgin Galactic craft.
According to The Sun, flights on the six-seater spaceships are to due to launch this year and will cost £780,000 per person to be blasted 70,000ft into the Earth’s atmosphere.
It is thought that Queen B and Jay will film their promo when passengers experience six minutes of weightlessness, with a source telling the tabloid: “The label people have been talking about making a music video in space.
“Beyonce and Jay-Z seemed the obvious option. Everything is being done to make it happen.”
In other related news, the Run The World (Girls) singer and Jigga are said to have spent a cool £1million on their new daughter, apparently buying a £400,000 gold rocking horse, a £13,000 cot and a £10,000 crystal-incrusted highchair.
Despite their extravagant purchases, they are thought to have donated some of Blue’s baby presents to charity, with an insider telling the Daily Star: “They’ve been sent literally hundreds of gifts in the past few days.

Although Beyonce and Jay-Z are celebrities, the hospital have an obligation to everyone and looks like the Department of Health is making sure that Everyone was treated fairly after all the complaints.

According to TMZ:

“The NY State Health Department is investigating complaints from new parents who claim they were mistreated by the staff at Lenox Hill Hospital while Beyonce was giving birth in the VIP room.
TMZ broke the story … several parents are considering filing a lawsuit against LHH –claiming they were neglected by staff and prevented from visiting their newborns … due to the drama surrounding the superstar.
Now, a rep for the Health Dept. tells the NY Daily News, “Whenever we receive a complaint, we look into it. It’s not necessarily an investigation. It could be a review. Most likely in this case, it would be an investigation.”
It’s unclear how many parents complained — but as we previously reported, a whole bunch of people were griping about the situation during a breastfeeding class a few days ago. “

I wonder how many complaints were filed? I’m sure the staff was a little more attentive to the celebs and less attentive to ‘regular folk’! Completely unfair, but life is unfair sometime.

According to TMZ:

“The United States Marine Corps is launching an investigation into a video which appears to show Marines in full combat gear urinating on several dead bodies … TMZ has learned.
In the extremely graphic video, which appeared on various websites this morning, at least 4 male Marines expose their genitals and urinate on the bodies.
The mystery person who posted the video included a caption that reads, “scout sniper team 4 with 3rd battalion 2nd marines out of camp lejeune peeing on dead talibans.”
Now, Captain Kendra N. Hardesty — a Media Officer for the USMC — tells us, “While we have not yet verified the origin or authenticity of this video, the actions portrayed are not consistent with our core values and are not indicative of the character of the Marines in our Corps.”

According to Deadline.com, the ratings were up 45% from the premiere in total viewers and 18% in women 25-54. Also, it boosted the second-season premiere of “Oprah’s Master Class” featuring Jane Fonda (930,000 total viewers).
