JILL SCOTT COUNTER SUES HER RECORD COMPANY

Neo-soul siren Jill Scott is fighting back against her longtime record company Hidden Beach Records.

BV Buzz reported, back in February, that the boutique music label -- founded by Steve McKeever (pictured with Scott in 2007), filed a suit against Scott claiming that she had "breached her contract."
